Inspiring Mathematical Passion
To me, mathematics is not about dry formulas on paper; it is a creative language and the most powerful tool for empowerment. This passion was the driving force behind my founding of the Applied Math Innovators Club, bringing free online classes to over 1000 children in remote regions and organizing interactive events to help them find joy in the subject.
I believe math can be fun, which is why I designed the Math Maniac board game, and I believe math can be accessible to anyone, which is why I am developing the Prodigy Math AI platform. This is my journey of turning numbers into connection and impact.

Applied Math Innovators Club: When Mathematics is a Bridge to Knowledge
To me, mathematics is not just numbers in a textbook; it is the language of logical reasoning and a powerful tool for empowerment. I noticed that many children, especially in rural areas, were falling behind or carried an invisible fear of this subject, simply because they lacked a guide.
With the belief that every child deserves a fair chance to access knowledge, I founded the Applied Math Innovators Club in June 2023.
Our journey began by recruiting and training a team of 20 passionate volunteers. One of our core activities is tutoring 5th-grade students preparing to transition to secondary school. We understood they would face many challenges with the new curriculum, so these sessions help familiarize them with the next level of math, allowing them to adapt better.
We implemented this program at 6 primary schools in An Giang province, providing academic support for nearly 600 students. We didn't stop there; we also organized free online math classes, breaking down geographical barriers to reach and support over 1000 children from remote regions across the country.
We don't just "teach" math. We want to change how children "see" math. Through interactive events like Sudoku and Maze challenges, we aim to prove that mathematics can be an exciting intellectual game. Seeing the children light up as they solve puzzles is our greatest reward, it's proof that we are helping them connect with and find joy in their journey of mastering numbers.

LOVE OF MATHEMATICS >>>

I believe the biggest barrier in mathematics isn't its difficulty, but how we approach it. Many students struggle with abstract concepts like calculus, derivatives, or spatial geometry because they lack intuitive, visual explanations.
That is why I founded Prodigy Math, a comprehensive, AI-powered math learning platform. As the platform's architect and developer, I built a catalog of over 30 mathematics courses, from basic to advanced. I also led a team of 5 students (3 coders, 2 designers) to develop interactive video lessons for our primary school curriculum, transforming complex concepts into vivid, understandable examples.
The platform has generated over $1,500 in revenue from 120+ learners (and attracted 500 total users). Committed to our community mission, we have donated 70% of our profits to the "Cap Sach Den Truong" Scholarship Fund. I am currently raising additional funds from personal networks to support the project’s expansion.

Math Maniac
Math Challenge Board Game Business Project
I noticed that many children are often afraid of math, but they love to play games. Troubled by this, I wanted to change the "math is boring" stereotype and give kids a toy that was more than just simple entertainment.
That is why I founded and led Math Maniac, a business project for a math challenge board game. My goal was to design a game through which children could learn and play naturally. By integrating mathematical concepts and logical puzzles into the gameplay, the game fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As the project leader, I independently managed the entire process from product development and marketing to sales.
The project successfully sold 500 game sets, generating 25M VND in revenue. Most importantly, 100% of the proceeds were allocated to the "Cap Sach Den Truong" Scholarship Fund to support underprivileged students. The project will continue its operations and maintain this community support mission.

Mathematics is applied in every aspect of life, including the finance and banking industry. To gain a deeper understanding of this application, I had the honor of being the sole representative from ABC School selected for the internship program at MB Bank in June 2024.
As a Data Analyst Intern, I received specialized training in banking data analysis skills and learned about the operational procedures of the sales department. Below is a short video clip capturing my valuable takeaways and experiences throughout this internship.

Adaptive PDE-Based Reduced-Order Modeling for Fast Thermo-Mechanical Lifetime Assessment of Power Devices in Railway Traction Drives
My journey into specialized scientific research began at the INTARG International Innovation Competition. It was here I had the invaluable opportunity to be mentored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thanh Ha, a leading expert in Control Engineering, Electric Drives, and Power Electronics. Recognizing a unique chance to tackle a technical problem I was passionate about, I proactively sought her supervision for an in-depth research project.
Under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha, our research focused on applying advanced algorithms to solve a critical challenge in railway engineering: accurately predicting the lifetime of power semiconductor devices. We developed and applied an adaptive reduced-order modeling (A-ROM) algorithm, integrated with a Bayesian Miner model and the Rainflow algorithm.
Following a rigorous scientific peer-review process evaluating its innovation and contribution, the paper was officially published in the Journal Européen des Systèmes Automatisés (JESA). JESA is a highly reputable academic journal, established in 1967 and indexed in the Scopus database with a Q3 ranking in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. This publication serves as a formal validation of our methodology for creating 'digital twins' to solve complex, real-world engineering problems.
